Vitamin C, nutrition and stress reduciton
As soon as the sores appear, take vitamin C. You can take up to 1000 mg three times a day. This will help your immune system get stronger and suppress the virus that causes the sores.
Drink water to help your system flush out the toxins through the urine.
Rinse your mouth with ½ teaspoon of salt dissolved in 8 ounces of water. You can do this several times a day. If you don't mind the little extra pain, you can dab some salt or baking soda directly on the sore, and this will speed up the cleansing process.
Licorice has been used for over 400 years as a healing agent. If you can find pure licorice root, chew it as often as you like during the day to cleanse the sores. Or apply licorice-root-based Cankermelts Medicated Disks to the sores, which will speed the healing time and release the pain.
Use acidophilus, the yogurt with live cultures. Have it for breakfast, snack, rinse your mouth with it ti all works well to cleanse canker sores.
Reduce stress. Stress is known to bring about an outbreak. When the sores appear, it is the body's way of sending an alarm signal that you're under too much stress. Do relaxation activities like yoga and meditation, sleep well and exercise regularly to help your immune system expel toxins.
Try fasting, which is also a good way to expel toxins. Choose a vitamin C-rich juice fast (with oranges, lemons, ginger and radishes) for a day or two, and you will cleanse cancer sores very effectively.
